Apple Cider Moscow Mule

It’s always fun to greet guests with a special holiday cocktail when they arrive and the Apple Cider Moscow Mule is one that everyone will love. The chilled copper mug gives a holiday vibe right away and the apple cider and cinnamon stick confirms it! It is actually pretty simple to make. You can do individually as guests come in, or make a larger batch to shake and pour.

We used Tito’s Vodka, but there are also some flavored vodkas like vanilla or caramel that would be nice. The other ingredients that you’ll need are apple cider, ginger beer (this is non-alcoholic, fyi), lime and for garnish, cinnamon sticks and apple slices.

Put your copper mugs (if you have them) in the freezer or chill any glass or mug you would like to use an hour or so before your guests arrive and make sure that you have lots of ice. If you want a stronger apple cider taste, use a little less ginger beer and more apple cider. The only prep work you need to do is slice up some lime wedges and apple slices for the garnish and put the cinnamon sticks out as the last step. It is a pretty easy recipe which is nice so you don’t have to concentrate too hard when your guests arrive!
