Beverly Hills City Guide

I moved from Newport Beach to Beverly Hills last June and can’t believe how fast a year flew by!  I found the cutest apartment which is almost identical to Melrose Place, minus the drama. I have loved getting familiar with all of the local spots and figuring out where my go to places are.  It has taken me a full year but I have found the coolest little gems and love my new town.

Typically in the morning I like to wear something comfy… If I am not in some sort of well-coordinated athleisure from a workout class, I can typically be seen wearing a pair of denim, casual tee or button down blouse, and a sleek flat.  I like to be put together but in an effortless thrown it on and go kind of way.

At night, I like to wear dresses.  I think there is something to be said about being a little more on the feminine side when going out, plus I always like a little leg to show.  I will generally wear a simple strappy heel and add some jewelry and a touch more makeup to transform from day to evening.  I am a minimalist, so I never go overboard on anything.

Here is a little snippet of some of my fav spots in BH…

Best Coffee::

Blue Bottle –  the almond milk latte is amazing and I love the vibe inside…

Kreation– the iced shakerado is my favorite, plus it is technically “healthy” which makes it even better right? They also have amazing juices.

Best Workout::

Physique 57– the best barre workout in town.  I swear I have been doing this a full year and it is just as hard each time as it was the first time.  But let’s face it, this summer body doesn’t just make itself….

Best Breakfast::

Georgie at the Montage.  It is gorgeous inside and the food is great, not to mention I just love the Montage and can walk from my place.

Lounge Poolside::

Beverly Hills Hotel or Montage – Both have great people watching and are gorgeous spots.  I also love the cheeseburger at the BH Hotel (don’t judge me).

Best Nail Salon::

Olive and June – the inside is seriously so cute and they do a great mani pedi.

Beverly Hills Nail Design- the best hidden gem and they do a pretty good mani pedi for $36 which is unheard of in this area.

Best Drinks::

Wally’s– this is basically my cheers, where everybody knows my name.  Plus they have great truffle fries. I go here at least 2x a week.

Best Dinner::

The new Jean George just opened in the Waldorf Astoria and is fantastic.  I love the sleek interior and it reminds me of Nougatine in NYC which I love… Il Pastaio is also great Italian and the patio is always lively and really good people watching.  I have seen Mohamed Hadid here almost every time…

Best rooftop::

The new Waldorf Astoria or the Peninsula Hotel.  Both have great views of the city and excellent libations and nibbles which in case you haven’t noticed, I love to eat and drink 😉
