Bridgehampton Home Tour with
TinaMarie Clark

TinaMarie Clark, model and mother, was introduced to me by a close friend/colleague. From the start, we had a great connection, our personalities have strikingly similar characteristics so it was not a surprise as to why he thought we would make a great pair. She warmly invited us to her Bridgehampton home while we were recently on the east coast and we loved spending time with her as a group. She graciously hosted us for lunch and a day of storytelling and exploring. Today, we are sharing our tour with you…

Tell us about your home in Bridgehampton…
It’s peaceful, green, easy and beautiful!

What kind of memories are made in this home?
Cooking, family reunions, tons of people over, girls nights, Sunday night GOT by the pool.

Tell us about the symmetry of the house.
All rooms, hallways and windows are perfectly symmetrical throughout the entire home.

Please introduce us to your dog. What is her name? What breed is she? We love her.
RUBY!!! Is a female Hungarian Vizsla. We love this breed so much.

The pool is so relaxing, we imagine you spend a lot of time here in the summer- tell us about your pool parties.
This may come as a shock but I don’t enjoy non Caribbean beaches, we live next to the beach and rarely go down to it. I’m always by the pool because I love to eat, drink and nap after a day of sun. The whole packing up the car, chairs, kids, food and drinks give me anxiety just thinking about it. We always have pool parties.

You have an amazing piece of artwork in the living room, who is the artist and what is the story behind this purchase.
Georg Baselitz.

This piece was the first piece of art we went to look at and pick together. I felt so fancy going to Gagosian Gallery and picking art…something I knew nothing about or had ever done before. It was special.

Do you control the design in the house?
I do. Thank God:)

What are some of your favorite brands- i.e. furniture, candles, details for the bathroom etc.
Kelly Wearstler and Aerin Lauder.

What was the inspiration behind your bedroom?
I always wanted a black and white bedroom, so when we re did our bedroom I went for it…hard

Tell us about the photography … we loved one Horst in particular…
My mother and I would develop our family film in our basement when I was a child so I will always be a sucker for black and white film. I love the depth, shadows and grain.

How much time do you spend at this home compare to Ohio and Manhattan?
It is always changing. My fiancĂ©’s company and home are in Ohio, so we split our time between Ohio and NYC.

Where are your favorite spots in The Hamptons for those traveling?
Sag Harbor, Wolford Estates, Sunset Beach.

Tell us about Barbara:)
God I love her . She owns a vintage jewelry store right in Bridgehampton. It’s my Saturday ritual to visit her and check out what new stuff she picked up for me. We both love vintage jewelry and could talk about it all day long. She has a way of making me feel so welcomed

Tell us about your yard sales adventures….
Ummm you mean the best yard sales in the country…don’t mind if I do. You can find the craziest, weirdest, most unique things. Most people in the hamptons don’t typically go to yard sales so I get so lucky because there are only a few people there and I make a killing.

You have a volleyball court and a tennis court- do these get used?
Not by myself.

How much fun is having the garden? Do you cook?
It’s the best! I love being able to pick fresh veggies and fruit from the garden and eat it at my next meal.

I don’t cook…I warm lol.

The grounds are so lush- Loved learning about the rose garden in particular, can you explain your family history with the roses and your husband’s role as well?

David loves roses and had an a award winning rose garden at his prior Ohio home that was nothing short of spectacular. I love roses especially because my great grandfather was a Botanist at Brown University and worked executively on hybrids of Roses. We have about 52 different types of roses on the grounds.

What is the key to being a gracious hostess?
Preparation for your guests

What are some entertaining/hostessing tips you can share…?
Food, music, drinks and good lighting are a recipe for a good time.

How do you make your house a home?
My family makes my house a home!
