An Amalfi Inspired Birthday – Art of Being Female

We were lucky enough to travel throughout the Amalfi Coast this summer and were quickly inspired to throw an Italian Birthday Party for the girls. My daughter, Maude, turned one and a few weeks later my sister’s daughter, Eloise, turned 3- So we joined forces for a duel birthday beach bash!

Inspired by the fun beach clubs and restaurants we stuck some cushions and tables on the floor for a comfortable, casual and chic vibe. Beijos helped us make all of our visions a reality! Friends joined us with kids of all ages so we had a ball bit for the younger kids, and a jump house and face painting for the older kids- AND a bar for the much older older kids! 🙂

We had an aperol spritz as our signature drink that was enjoyed by most. One of my favorite parts was the balloon decor we incorporated on the swing set that was already on the beach. We made sure it was secure and popped and threw away each balloon so that none would float away or go in the ocean! We also have a tether ball on the beach and added some balls, beach toys, a big Jenga set and corn hole for more amusement.

We kept the florals simple with olive branch greenery and lemons. We had a couple bouquets added with ranunculus and chamomile flowers. I loved the way @notjustinnovels sliced some lemons open with the whole lemons and put them in the baskets and vases.

The treats were beautifully made from @sweetnsaucyshop shop. We indulged in macarons, lemon cake pops and a blueberry cheesecake mini bites. We also had the cutest Italian inspired tile cookies from @frostyourcookie. All the sweets were as delicious as they were beautiful!
