Apple Cider Fall Cocktail Recipe

This Apple Cider cocktail is the perfect way to celebrate fall! Not to mention it’s so easy and delicious. When in a time crunch you can use pre-made apple cider but it’s so much more delicious to make it from scratch. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Ingredients for one cocktail:

  • 1 ounce apple cider (store bought or homemade. Recipe below for homemade)
  • 1 ounce of apple vodka. I used apple Absolut
  • Champagne or Prosecco to fill glass
  • Apple slices and cinnamon sticks to garnish

Instructions:

Chill Prosecco and vodka before serving. Dip the rim in water and press into sugar and cinnamon. Put apple cider and vodka into flute or cocktail glass and fill the rest of the glass with champagne or prosecco. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks. Enjoy!

Homemade Apple Cider:

Make your home smell like fall by making your own homemade apple cider. Great for kids to sip on and adults to make cocktails with. 🙂 Bonus: You can also freeze it and defrost to enjoy at a later time.

Homemade Apple Cider Ingredients:

  • 8 gala apples cored and quartered
  • 4 sticks cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon whole cloves
  • 1 teaspoon whole allspice
  • 10 cups water
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions:

Place quartered apples into a slow cooker. Add in cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and allspice and pour in 10 cups of water.
Cook on high for 3 hours.
Mash the apples with a potato masher. Add in brown sugar. Cook an additional 1-3 hours on low.
Strain the solids from the liquids. Discard solids and store liquids in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze for later use.
