Hart Girls Bday, 4+6

This year, we celebrated with close friends and friends from school, both Scarlett and Elle’s 6th and 4th birthdays. Their birthdays are a month apart but it was their idea to do a joint party this year. The summer months at the Hart house are very busy celebrating as 5 out of 6 of us turn a year older in the summer! It was a very welcomed distraction planning a little shindig for the girls and I let them be very involved in the process this year.

The theme was unicorns and (pink) rainbows, which is very popular among this age group:) We had a pink ball pit from our friends at MESH, an all white jumpy house (praise) and one of my favorite and fun elements to the party was the (pink) Coffee Dose latte bar for moms and dads which served iced and hot lattes depending on preference.

Sugar Crush Sweets, to the girls’ delight, did such a cute job creating cupcakes and cakes with all kinds of baubles, candies and doo-dads on them. Frost Your Cookie did unicorn, rainbow, star and cherry cookies on a stick. These are Elle’s favorite. If you attended the party and didn’t get one, she ate them all:))

The girls also requested pizza from Sgt. Pepperonis, their #1, which we had shaped into hearts (Hart girls… get it?) and double cut for the kids, salads and adult pizza for moms and dads. Our girls loooove Sgt. Pepps so this was also a crowd pleaser.

Graes Provisions did two rainbow charcuterie boards, one of which was all candy and the other consisted of standard fruits and veggies but in the bright color wheel from which we were working.

Marni from My OC Flowers dropped off several big bouquets in pinks and bright purples as well as a runner of pink and purple baby’s breath for the kids table. They were beautiful and the girls were obsessed with the colors… everything pink and purple lol.

Creative Amme did the custom die-cut swizzle sticks, cupcake and cake toppers in glitter acrylic which turned out so cute. All the plates and napkins (which were a mix) came from Meri Meri, Oh Happy Day and Daydream Society.

What’s a party without a pinata? I had the nicest woman on Etsy make us a unicorn with long flowing tinsel metallic hair and the colors of our party. I even got a recommendation for a stuffer store that had the BEST options for pinatas. The kids were definitely excited when that pinata burst. Mission Accomplished.

We had such a great time. It was wonderful to see everyone and celebrate. 2020 is definitely a year to remember and this little party will go down as a highlight. Thanks to all who came, these are such precious moments. Here’s to celebrating!
